Heavenly Father, we thank you for women in the media.

We commit them to you and pray that you will continue to be with them as they go about their professional duties and other endeavours.

In accordance with the theme of the 2022 International Day of Women (IWD), we pray that every bias against them shall be broken.

Let every glass ceiling against women in the media be shattered.

We pray that you will grant them the grace and enablement to challenge and overcome every discrimination against them in the profession. 

We ask for wisdom and strength to excel in whatever assignment or responsibility they are given.

We pray that their gender will not be a hindrance to fulfilling whatever purpose you have for them in the media and life. 

Let them have happy relationships and family lives that will enhance their work. We pray for understanding partners that will support them in their work.

Let media owners and managers appreciate the need for an industry free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination against women. 

All these and more we pray for in Jesus mighty name.
