CHIKA ABANOBI testifies to how his swollen leg miraculously shrinks after prayers

I travelled home to my village in Imo State sometime this year, in April 2026, and stayed for more than two months.

This was because the journey happened to have taken place during the farming/planting season. So? I took an active part in farming activities. During that time, I also took the opportunity to clean up our compound.

But while I was doing that, a building block fell on my right leg and left some bruises on it, in addition to some internal muscular and bone injuries. Initially, after applying some medications recommended by a pharmacist but without much improvement, I began to be afraid that the wound and swollen leg might develop into something else.

This is because I am diabetic. But somewhere along the line, the Spirit of God ministered to me not to be too worried about the injury. Instead, He urged me to pray about it and believe that everything will be alright.

He reminded me of a story I read, years ago, in “God’s Generals” about A.A. Allen, a one-time popular American televangelist. The story: he prayed for a 500-pound overweight woman. Some days after, her weight miraculously shrank to 200 pounds.

The Holy Spirit then asked me whether my swollen leg or my 500-pound overweight is greater? On being reminded of that story, I developed a strong faith while praying. I had reasoned that if God could do that, then He would do much more in my little, incomparable case.

To the glory of His name, that was exactly what happened. After about a week, I discovered that the heavily swollen leg that had prevented me from walking from Point A to Point B had drastically gone down. I

In fact, the kind of healing that took place was such that nobody would have rightly guessed that a week or so before it, I had a serious injury on that leg that did not allow me to walk at all.
