Journalists for Christ International Outreach ( JFC International ) is a registered Non- Governmental Christian media organisation devoted to spreading the gospel among media professionals and using media skills to promote Christian activities in Nigeria.
THE VISION
Established in April,1998, the vision of Journalists for Christ International Outreach ( JFC International ) is principally to spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ among journalists and other allied media professionals.
We seek to encourage those who are already Christians to remain steadfast in the faith and win over those who are yet to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
As ambassadors for Christ (11 Corinthians 5: 20 ) in our various organisations, we are committed to reconciling the media to God. Other aims and objectives of the group include:
- Promotion of Christian ethics in the media.
- Promotion of activities of Christian organisations.
- Engaging and identifying with programs and ventures that can engender the growth and development of Christianity and the media at both local and international levels.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership of the body is open to journalists and other media professionals in Nigeria and beyond. It is also open to organisations that have demonstrated practical commitment to the cause of using the the media to promote the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. ( Click for full Constitution)
