Pray for the peace of\nJerusalem (Nigeria): “May those who love you be secure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
May there be peace\nwithin your walls and security within your citadels.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the sake of my\nbrothers and friends, I will say, “Peace be within you.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the sake of the\nhouse of the LORD our God, I will seek your prosperity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Psalm 122: 6-9<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We thank God for the\nmonth of September that is over and October we are commencing today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since January this year, God has been faithful in one way or the other and I’m sure we all have testimonies regarding our lives, family, work and other endeavours for which we are thankful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We may not have accomplished everything we hoped for by this time of the year, but we are assured that all things work together for them that love the Lord and who are called according to His purpose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let us enter this\nmonth with renewed faith in God who is able to do exceeding and abundantly\nbeyond what we can think or imagine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let us hold on to the promise of God that His plan for us is not of evil, but of good to bring us to the expected end this month and this year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Let us be committed to\nGod and the power of His might without which we cannot accomplish our\ndesires. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
As we join in marking our independence anniversary, I urge you to join in praying for peace and stability in the country. Pray for the leadership of the country to have the required wisdom to combat the endless killings, banditry, kidnapping and other vices bedevilling the country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
With the commencement\nof the political campaigns ahead of next year’s general elections, we have a\ncrucial role to play in reporting and expressing our views on the\nelectoral process to ensure free and fair elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We should join in\npraying for the election of the right candidates at every level to ensure good\ngovernance in the country which will make it possible for us to practice our\nprofession without hindrance and be adequately rewarded. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Happy new month again.\nI pray that God will grant you the wisdom and favour you need to excel in your\nwork. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
