The world we now live in gives us a lot of reasons to want to throw in the towel, due to the level of uncertainty around us.
People go out with the fear of not returning in one piece.
Parents leave their kids at home with afraid of the unknown.
Everyone goes about their businesses unsure of new policies by the government which might affect their operations.
However, there is a disclaimer!
As believers, are we supposed to live in such panic with the countless promises in the Word of God about how much love He has for us, and the good things he has in store for us?
The Word of God has made it clear that we will come through tribulations, but we should be of good cheer, He has overcome the world.
So, how do we keep our heads high above this tribulation surrounding us, and cling to God’s promises?
First, we need to live our lives with the conscious understanding that we are in the world, but not of the world. John 17:14.
Before you step out of your abode on a daily basis, let the Word of God that reminds you of His promises be an anchor to your soul. Psalms 119:11
Also, try to help others see this world in the view that God wants us to. By doing so, you will be more relaxed while going about your daily schedules.
